Concrete!

Some of you may have noticed that we have a new sidewalk! It is really helping to keep the mud factor down. One of our clients owns a masonry business and were kind enough to do the work for us. If you ever need concrete work done, I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you Emily and Josh Smith from Custom Precast Masonry Inc. in Faribault MN.

Spotlight on: Hannah!

hannah

Hanna is currently living a Kiesler's Campground in Waseca. Her family are snow birds from Arizona. She is a Blue Merle Sheltie and unlike most shelties hardly ever barks. Not much is known about Hannah as she was just recently rescued fron a Sheltie Rescue. She is very calm and laid back and a joy to have around.

Other Stuff

As you may have noticed, we are getting a freeway next to us! Having had a couple of dogs climb or jump the fence we currently have, we decided we needed to put up a higher fence. We found a good deal on a 10' fence on Craigslist. We are going to start putting poles in soon, then have a fence erecting party. I will post the date on my facebook page. If anyone is interested we will have food and beverages. It should be a swell time...

Yappy Campers donates 1 kennel enclosure at all times for rescued dogs. The 2 rescues we currently work with are Underdog Rescue and Peke N Chin Midwest. These dogs are being rescued from various puppy mills in the midwest. We keep these dogs until a foster home or permanent home can be found.

Foster parents are very much in need because of the crack down on puppy mills in Missouri (the bigest state for puppy mills) If you are interested in fostering a dog, contact either one of the rescues listed above or Small Dog Rescue of MN.

Don't be fooled! 99% of dogs that come from pet shops are from puppy mills! Please adopt from rescue organizations. If you knew the horrors of puppy mills, you would never buy a dog online, from a suspect breeder, or in a pet store again. If a pet shop says their puppies are from USDA certified breeders, they are STILL puppy mills!
